Day five of our cruise down the Danube

Early morning, still in monochrome, we are heading for Bucharest.

Passing some river traffic - and the weather is improving....

Kay has made a new German friend Barbara - and is pretending to take some exercise with her around the deck.

Signs of industry in Romania.

The rocky cliffs of the Gorge are giving way to sandstone.

The cleaner has left this cute towelling sculpture on our bed.

Berthed at Giurgiu to board our coach to Bucharest.

On the road to Bucharest...

Elaborate style of a rich Romanian Gypsy family house.

This sticker on a red van needs no translation!

Statute to the Aviators - taken from a moving bus!

Statue of King Carol I in Revolution Square

Old monuments - Kay in front of Palace of the Parliament - built by dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu
